The Geode is a Treasure
The delicate geode
glitters inside with diamonds
prickly, sharp like a pencil.
The delicate geode
outside green, white
bumpy as a turtle’s shell.
The delicate geode
inside edge hard, smooth
icy like granite.
The delicate geode
searching for treasure
to make my family rich.

I really liked the part about the light from inside being "sharp like a pencil". That's just what it feels like to your eyes when something sparkles!
